Botrix is the unofficial standard for Kick streaming bots. Since Kick is a newer platform, its API ecosystem is still developing. However, by using Botrix's custom URL commands combined with SwiftSnip, you can create a flawless automated clipping system for your Kick stream.

Connecting SwiftSnip to Kickbot

The setup process takes less than two minutes. Here is exactly what you need to do:

  1. Connect Your Kick Channel: Go to your Creator Dashboard, select the Kick Tab, and click "Log In To Kick" to authorize your channel.
  2. Configure Kickbot Dashboard: Log in to the Kickbot Dashboard, link your Kick account, and ensure Kickbot is active in your channel settings.
  3. Mod Kickbot in Your Chat: Open your Kick channel chat room and type the following command to grant Kickbot privileges:
    /mod Kickbot

That's it! Viewers can type !clip [optional title] in chat, and highlights are generated instantly!

Why this is necessary

Currently, Kick does not have a robust built-in tool that allows moderators to easily extract 1080p MP4 files for editing in Premiere or CapCut. When you use this Botrix integration, the heavy video rendering happens on SwiftSnip's cloud servers, not your gaming PC. The raw file is then dropped right into your creator profile.

If you want to grow on TikTok using your Kick VODs, this workflow will save you hours of manual editing.
